Horizontes del Timanfaya

Horizontes del Timanfaya is conceived as a precise architectural response to one of the most singular landscapes in Europe. Developed by Nexta Living in collaboration with Jaraba Arquitectos and Amacher & Amigo, the project brings together vision, experience and sensitivity to create a coherent, refined and distinctive proposal. The architecture is directly inspired by its proximity to Timanfaya National Park, integrating into the volcanic landscape through a careful reading of the terrain, light and spatial scale. The development consists of just two exclusive villas, where every decision—from spatial layout to material selection—has been designed to establish a natural and balanced relationship with the surroundings. The result is a series of spaces that convey calm, solidity and continuity, where indoor and outdoor living blend seamlessly. Lanzarote offers a unique context within Europe, defined by its volcanic origin, strong visual contrasts and a constantly changing light that reshapes the landscape throughout the day. It represents not only a destination but a way of living where architecture and nature coexist in harmony, creating a distinct and recognizable identity. Within this setting, the southern part of the island stands out for its balance between privacy, scenic value and connectivity. The environment combines the presence of the Atlantic Ocean with volcanic formations and protected natural areas, where the landscape becomes the central element of the residential experience. Living close to Timanfaya National Park means coexisting with a territory shaped by volcanic eruptions, featuring solidified lava flows, craters and textures formed over centuries. Nearby, the Los Ajaches massif provides a contrasting landscape with its eroded terrain, panoramic ocean views and access to some of the island’s most exclusive beaches.
